In honor of the Vesak festival, Serendib Flour Mills engaged with the local community by organizing a Tea Bun Dansala and Plain Tea Dansala on May 29, 2026, near the Orugodawatta Bridge. The event successfully provided 12,500 buns and an equal number of cups of tea to worshippers and the general public.
