Sri Lanka Encouraged to Establish Definitive Technical Guidelines for Advancing Renewable Energy Development

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – As Sri Lanka enhances its renewable energy and storage capabilities, establishing clear technical standards and frameworks is vital for maintaining system reliability and fostering investor confidence, according to speakers at a recent energy security forum.

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce organized the event titled “Energy Transition in Sri Lanka: Strategic Insights from Global Markets,” which brought together representatives from both the public and private sectors to explore the opportunities and challenges within the country’s changing energy sector.

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce emphasized that as Sri Lanka strives towards a more sustainable and secure energy future, such forums are crucial for facilitating dialogue, sharing knowledge, and promoting collaboration among various stakeholders.
