Sri Lanka Regulator Prolongs Suspension of Sanasa Life Insurance

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – The Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka has announced an extension of the suspension of Sanasa Life Insurance Co PLC’s registration for conducting long-term insurance business, as stated in a recent stock exchange filing by the company.

The suspension period has been extended from January 31 to March 3.

This action follows the initial suspension in December, in accordance with Section 18 (1) (d), (f), (g), and (h) of the Regulation of Insurance Industry Act, No. 43 of 2000.
