Sri Lanka’s Amana Takaful converts 43mn debentures to shares

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Amana Takaful in Sri Lanka has announced the conversion of 43,025,354 debentures into ordinary voting shares, with each share valued at a conversion price of 4.50 rupees.

The debentures in question are unlisted, unrated, unsecured, and redeemable, and they include a convertible option. Following this announcement, the Amana Takaful share experienced a rise, trading up by 3.77 percent at 24.80 rupees. (Colombo/Dec30/2025)
