Sri Lanka’s ASPI experiences a minor decline as blue-chip stocks see upward movement.

On Monday, the Colombo Stock Exchange in Sri Lanka experienced a slight decline, according to data from the CSE.

The All Share Price Index (ASPI) decreased by 0.03 percent, equating to a drop of 6.29 points, bringing it to a total of 21,616.88. Conversely, the S&P SL20 index saw a rise of 0.41 percent, or 24.62 points, ending the day at 6,090.34.

The overall market turnover reached 1.89 billion rupees.

Among the leading gainers contributing positively to the ASPI were Sampath Bank, which rose by 1.75 rupees to reach 141.75, Dialog Axiata, which increased by 90 cents to 48 rupees, Commercial Bank, up by 1.25 rupees to 205.75, Melstacorp, gaining 1.25 rupees to settle at 192, and PickMe, which saw a rise of 3.25 rupees to 163.50.

Additionally, Lee Hedge announced a dividend of 2 rupees per voting share.
