Sri Lanka’s Services Exports Surge 14.68% in February 2026, Driven by ICT and BPM Growth

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Sri Lanka’s services exports in February 2026 are estimated to have increased by 14.68 percent to 334.9 million dollars, according to the island’s Export Development Board.

Export earnings from ICT/BPM rose by 36.66 percent to 153.62 million dollars in February 2026 compared to February 2025.

However, export earnings from construction fell by 8.10 percent to 6.35 million dollars year-on-year.

Financial services experienced growth of 18.91 percent, reaching 4.78 million dollars.

Transport and logistics saw a modest increase of 0.86 percent, totaling 170.15 million dollars.

The total exports of goods and services for February 2026 amounted to 1,401.78 billion US dollars, reflecting a rise of 4.22 percent.
