Sri Lanka’s water authority collaborates with Australia’s RMIT for innovative solutions.

Sri Lanka’s cabinet has given the green light for the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia, as announced by Minister Nalinda Jayatissa.

This partnership aims to bolster research capabilities and foster international academic relationships, according to the minister’s statements to the media.

“The intended collaboration is anticipated to improve the technical expertise, research proficiency, and professional growth opportunities for the personnel at the NWSDB, thereby aiding Sri Lanka’s long-term objectives related to water security and infrastructure development,” he elaborated.
