Sri Lanka seeks investment opportunities for Maradana property.

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – The Sri Lankan government is set to invite investment proposals for a parcel of land located on Maradana Road in Colombo 10, which is managed by the Urban Development Authority. This initiative, announced by Minister Nalinda Jayatissa, will involve leasing the land for a duration of 50 years.

The site spans approximately 1 acre, 1 rood, and 12.4 perches and is intended for a mixed-use development project focused on innovation and information technology. Minister Jayatissa stated that the Cabinet has given its approval to seek proposals from potential investors who are interested in transforming the land into a production center for intellectual technology products and services aimed at the domestic market.
