FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has returned to Sri Lanka following his participation in an artificial intelligence summit held in India. During his visit, President Dissanayake engaged in bilateral discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and met with other global leaders attending the summit.
In his address at the leaders’ session, President Dissanayake emphasized the importance of leveraging AI technology to enhance cultural values and human capabilities. His remarks underscored a vision of integrating technological advancements with the enrichment of human society.
In addition to his meetings with Prime Minister Modi, President Dissanayake also held discussions with French President Emmanuel Macron, Brazilian President Lula da Silva, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay.
