Sri Lankan Rupee Declines as Bond Yields Remain Stable

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 311.15/25 to the US dollar in the spot market Friday, weaker than 311.00/05 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields were broadly steady.

A bond maturing on 15.03.2028 closed at 9.05/15 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 closed at 9.52/57 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.03.2030 closed at 9.62/70 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.03.2031 closed at 9.80/90 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2032 closed at 10.20/30 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.06.2033 closed flat at 10.47/53 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.06.2035 closed at 10.78/85 percent.
