FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 314.20/40 to the US dollar in the spot market on Tuesday, depreciating further from 313.00/314.00 the previous day, according to dealers. Meanwhile, bond yields experienced a slight increase.
A bond maturing on 15.10.2028 closed at 9.60/80 percent, up from 9.45/65 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.10.2029 closed at 9.85/95 percent, an increase from 9.70/80 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 also closed at 9.85/95 percent, up from 9.70/80 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.03.2030 closed at 9.90/10.00 percent, rising from 9.85/10.05 percent.
A bond maturing on 01.06.2033 closed at 10.85/95 percent, increasing from 10.60/85 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.06.2034 closed at 10.90/11.00 percent, up from 10.85/11.00 percent.
A bond maturing on 15.06.2035 remained flat at 10.95/11.15 percent.
