FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – On Monday, Sri Lanka’s rupee was quoted at 309.18/23 against the US dollar in the spot market, remaining steady according to dealers. Meanwhile, bond yields showed minimal fluctuations.
The bond maturing on December 15, 2029, was quoted at 9.42/45 percent, experiencing a slight increase from the previous 9.40/44 percent. Similarly, the bond maturing on March 15, 2031, remained unchanged at 9.65/70 percent.
The bond maturing on October 1, 2032, showed a slight uptick, quoted at 10.08/13 percent, up from 10.05/10 percent. Conversely, the bond maturing on June 1, 2033, saw a minor decrease, quoted at 10.35/37 percent, compared to the previous 10.35/40 percent.
The bond maturing on June 15, 2035, was quoted at 10.65/72 percent, slightly down from 10.65/70 percent. Meanwhile, the bond maturing on July 1, 2037, was quoted at 10.75/85 percent.
