In collaboration with Trident Corporation/Microsoft, Flash Health, Jetwing Hotels, and Jetwing Colombo Seven, the Technoli Institute of Digital Business hosted the inaugural session of its AI-Powered Business Executive program on June 3, 2026, at Jetwing Colombo Seven. This event brought together senior executives and decision-makers who engaged in creating live AI agents and AI-driven mini-applications.
This comprehensive one-day program went beyond theoretical discussions about AI, focusing instead on practical applications. Attendees were introduced to a mental framework aimed at making informed decisions regarding AI usage, developed intelligent automations, and addressed critical issues related to security, privacy, ethics, and the importance of maintaining a human presence in AI operations.
“It’s not necessary for most leaders to master every AI tool available. What they require is a cognitive framework to discern when to rely on AI and when to retain human judgment,” stated Saminda Deshapriya, the Founder and Managing Director of Technoli Institute of Digital Business. “This cognitive framework is key to transforming curiosity into effective decision-making.”
The faculty for the program included industry experts such as Saminda Deshapriya, an MIT-certified specialist in digital transformation; Sabilashan Ganeshan, a strategist well-versed in AI; Sahan Indunil, an AI Solutions Engineer from Trident Corporation; and Arshad Ameer, Co-Founder and CEO of Flash Health.
Technoli’s event marked the first public program of this nature and is the beginning of a series of initiatives. It complements the institute’s extended cohorts and corporate training offerings. Future programs focusing on AI transformation, strategy, logistics, and supply chain management are in the works, with an AI-Powered Business Analytics course set to debut soon.
