Term limit extended for agricultural pension

The Commanent and Agricultural Insurance has announced an extension for the distribution period of the December 2025 agricultural pension, now allowing recipients to collect their payments until the 31st of December.

Farmers are advised that they can receive their December retirement payments at designated post offices or sub branches during regular working days throughout the month of December.

Currently, a total of 178,753 farmers are beneficiaries of the agricultural pension scheme, while 6,312 individuals are receiving the fisherman pension.

In December, a total of 413 million rupees has been allocated for pension payments.
