FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Rockland Group has announced the immediate appointment of Tharindra Kulasinghe to its board as a non-executive director.
The company stated that this decision underscores Rockland’s proactive approach to enhancing its long-standing family governance by integrating independent expertise in vital areas necessary for the organization’s upcoming growth phase, specifically in technology, digital infrastructure, and data-driven strategies.
Kulasinghe brings more than 16 years of diverse experience in global manufacturing, supply chain management, capital markets, and financial services. He holds a First Class Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering with Business Management from the University of Warwick.
In addition to his new role at Rockland, he will maintain his position as the Chief Information Officer at Capital Alliance Limited (CAL).
Established in 1924, Rockland Distilleries is a family-owned business now in its fourth generation. The company is known for its products, which include Ceylon Arrack and the Colombo No.7 Gin range. (Colombo/May12/2026)
