TikTok has unveiled its Q3 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, highlighting its continuous efforts to foster a secure digital environment for its users. The report, covering data from July to September 2025, outlines the proactive measures TikTok has implemented to identify and eliminate content that breaches its Community Guidelines, thereby ensuring a positive experience for its global community.
During this quarter, TikTok globally removed a total of 204,534,932 videos, which constitutes approximately 0.7% of all content uploaded to the platform. Of these, 186,608,081 videos were detected and removed using automated detection technologies, while 8,950,735 videos were reinstated upon further review. The proactive removal rate reached 99.3%, with 94.8% of flagged content being removed within 24 hours of posting. Additionally, to maintain TikTok’s integrity, 118,618,399 fake accounts were removed, alongside 22,226,542 accounts suspected to belong to users under the age of 13.
The report further reveals that 30% of the total removed videos contained sensitive or mature themes that contradicted TikTok’s content policies. Another 15.7% breached the platform’s safety and civility standards, while 2.7% violated privacy and security guidelines. Furthermore, 32.9% of the removed videos were classified as misinformation, and 34.4% were identified as edited media and AI-generated content.
