Union Bank reopened its Gampola branch on 17 December after Cyclone Ditwah-related floods had severely impacted businesses and residents in the area.

Reaffirming its commitment to both customers and the local community, Union Bank responded promptly by undertaking restoration efforts, which enabled the branch to resume full banking operations in a short time frame.

The branch now features an improved and refreshed environment, offering enhanced services to customers. Mr. Dilshan Rodrigo, Director and Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank, joined the Gampola branch team to welcome customers back as operations resumed.
