As reported on the 15th of the month, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has released its latest daily exchange rates, revealing that the purchasing rate for the US Dollar stands at Rs. 323.53, while the selling rate is set at Rs. 331.15.
This marks the first occasion since December 5, 2023, that the buying rate for the Dollar has surpassed the Rs. 323 threshold. Additionally, it is the first time since December 22, 2023, that the selling rate has exceeded Rs. 331.
In related news, the USD/LKR SPOT Indicative Exchange Rate has seen an increase, now reaching Rs. 324.71, which is the highest level recorded since December 28, 2023.
