Colombo, Sri Lanka – Vega Innovations, a pioneering technology company, is proud to announce a historic milestone for Sri Lanka: the development of the nation’s first electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in Sri Lanka.

The eVTOL aircraft is currently undergoing rigorous testing with a 100 kg payload, prioritizing safety and autonomous functionality.

•⁠ ⁠Sri Lankan Innovation: Developed at a fraction of global costs, demonstrating Sri Lanka’s potential in world-class aviation technology.
