WealthTrust Securities Limited IPO Opens Tomorrow

The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of WealthTrust Securities Limited (WTS) is set to open tomorrow, offering the public an opportunity to subscribe for 71,548,244 Ordinary Voting Shares at an issue price of LKR 7.00 per share. Through this IPO, WTS aims to raise a total of LKR 500,837,708. Upon completion, the company’s shares are expected to be listed on the Diri Savi Board of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).

WealthTrust Securities Limited operates as a Primary Dealer authorized by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The company is also licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka as a Stock Broker (Debt) and Stock Dealer (Debt). The funds raised from the IPO will be used to further strengthen WTS’s core capital buffer and to support the expansion of its investment and trading portfolio in government securities. This initiative is expected to enhance the company’s capacity to manage market and interest rate risks while contributing to sustained value creation.

The issue is managed by Asia Securities Advisors (Private) Limited, serving as both Manager and Financial Advisor. The shares are offered at a price below valuation benchmarks referenced in the prospectus. With positive sentiment and significant interest typically associated with such capital market listings, WTS begins its IPO with strong anticipation from prospective investors.
