In celebration of global events honoring women’s achievements this March, Cinnamon Bentota Beach – Signature Selection is set to host an exclusive Signature Bar Takeover featuring renowned Indian mixologist Ami Shroff from March 9 to 11, 2026. The main event will be held on March 10, starting at 5:00 PM at Fuze Bar, and will offer a vibrant celebration of creativity, leadership, and contemporary cocktail craftsmanship on Sri Lanka’s southern coast.
Ami Shroff, recognized as one of India’s pioneering female mixologists and an early advocate of flair bartending, has had a distinguished career spanning more than two decades. She has significantly influenced India’s modern bar culture by blending performance artistry with technical precision. Her accolades include earning the title of Mixologist of the Year at the INCA Awards in 2019. Ami is celebrated for her innovative spirit and efforts to increase female representation in the industry.
The highlight of her visit will be the Signature Bar Takeover on March 10, an evening where storytelling and mixology intertwine. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a limited-edition cocktail menu curated specifically for the event, showcasing bold flavor combinations and sophisticated presentation techniques. A live flair bartending performance will turn Fuze Bar into an exciting stage of movement and expertise, providing an engaging experience for both guests and visitors.
Beyond the bar, Ami will also lead a dedicated bartending training session for the resort team on March 11. This hands-on workshop will focus on crafting two to three signature cocktails, introducing the fundamentals of flair and presentation techniques, and sharing insights into global bartending trends.
