SriLankan Airlines Flight UL 231 Scheduled for Departure to Dubai Today

A SriLankan Airlines flight is scheduled to depart for Dubai this afternoon. According to the arrivals and departures schedule at Bandaranaike International Airport, Flight UL231 is set to leave at 2:30 p.m. today. Passenger check-in for the flight has already commenced. The same flight will operate the return service as Flight UL232, departing Dubai at 7:10 p.m. local time and arriving back in Colombo later in the night.

Meanwhile, SriLankan Airlines has issued a notice regarding the cancellation of flights to several Middle East destinations. Due to the current situation in the Middle East, the airline announced that all flights from Colombo to Middle Eastern destinations are temporarily suspended until 23:59 hrs on March 4, 2026.

The affected services include:

  • UL225 Colombo – Dubai / UL226 Dubai – Colombo
  • UL217 Colombo – Doha / UL218 Doha – Colombo
  • UL253 Colombo – Dammam / UL254 Dammam – Colombo
  • UL265 Colombo – Riyadh / UL266 Riyadh – Colombo
  • UL229 Colombo – Kuwait / UL230 Kuwait – Colombo
