Israel continues to violate the ceasefire, killing a Palestinian journalist and attacking civilian areas across Gaza while expanding military occupation beyond the agreed yellow line.
Israeli drone fire killed a Palestinian and wounded several others on Tuesday in the Gaza Strip, as rescue teams evacuated five injured civilians and dozens of besieged families east of Gaza City.
The attacks took place in areas the Israeli army had previously withdrawn from under the ceasefire agreement, underscoring yet another violation.
The Nasser Medical Complex confirmed that Palestinian photojournalist Mahmoud Wadi was killed in a drone strike near the yellow line in central Khan Yunis — a zone Israel claims under the terms of the agreement, effectively placing more than 53% of Gaza under occupation control.
Local media also reported that an Israeli drone shot and wounded a Palestinian man in the Al-Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City. Drone strikes set homes ablaze near the Al-Sanafour junction east of the Al- Tuffah neighborhood, where Israeli forces continue expanding the boundaries of the yellow line.
Civil Defense crews said they were able to rescue five injured civilians — including two women and two children — from the Al-Sanafour area. They also evacuated dozens of families trapped under drone and tank fire in the Al-Tuffah district.
In the vicinity of the Sheja’iyya intersection, Israeli occupation forces detonated a booby-trapped robot in the Al-Sha’af area. Israeli forces also demolished structures in northern Gaza, launched airstrikes on Jabalia, and shelled the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Further south, Israeli forces opened fire east of Khan Yunis, and artillery targeted surrounding areas. Overnight, Israeli aircraft also carried out strikes east of the city. At dawn, warplanes fired heavily toward the city of Rafah, according to local sources.
