The overall rate of inflation, as measured by the NCPI on a Year-over-Year basis, was 1.6% in February 2026, while inflation calculated for January 2026 was 2.4%.
On a monthly basis, the Year-on-Year inflation of the food group decreased to 1.1% in February 2026, down from 3.4% in January 2026. Conversely, the Year-on-Year inflation of the non-food group increased to 1.9% in February 2026, rising from 1.6% in January 2026.
